Does anybody watch modern family?
Started it a few weeks back and I can't think of a programme that has made me laugh as frequently as this, if you haven't seen it i'd recommend it highly just an easy watch to kill 20 minutes or so!

typical dysfunctional family sitcom but the characters are likeable, and the script is brilliant. if you enjoy comedies this is perfect!

Yeah I watch it too mate, good sitcom to kill 20 min plus it has Sofia Vergara ed01 so I'm sure that's one good reason to watch the show.
{Ed001's Note - ah ok thanks, now I actually know the show you mean as someone was talking about her and I had to google who on earth she was. That show came up in the search results, so I have seen a bit of it, but only a snatch of it.}

James franco plays teacher Jake Epping who's diner owner friend reveals a secret rabbit hole that heads back to 1960, and his "mission" is to go back and stop JFK getting assassinated, this means he has to find out what really happened whether that be lee Harvey Oswald as someone who worked alone or if there is more to it than was ever revealed. Has twists and turns and more storylines that the main running JFK shooting. Its only 9/ 10 episodes and is really well acted. highly recommend.

Im looking for a new series to get into, but my problem is my concentration is awful so unless i'm gripped early I give up, I've watched peaky blinders, GOT, The blacklist, Orphan Black (Amazing series for anyone who hasn't watched it), stranger things, all the main stream series that are heavily advertised but I want something new any recommendations?

ive watched series one of Lucifer, it was more of a programme I could just watch in the background but it was enjoyable, have you watched supernatural ed?
{Ed001's Note - yes and it was crap for pre-pubescent girls to get excited over the leads, imo. Awful stuff.}

Give American Odyssey a try, only made one series unfortunately but an awesome show. Could also give Newsroom a try.
{Ed001's Note - Newsroom is good, I agree on that. What is American Odyssey? Man In The High Castle is an interesting concept, my parents have been watching that recently, I have only seen the pilot though myself, so couldn't tell you how good it is.}

American Odyssey its about soldiers coming across files about the big corporations being corrupt in regards to the war. Very interesting and can't recommend it enough.
I tried MITHC just couldn't get into it.
{Ed001's Note - is MITHC not very good then? Maybe I will leave it at just the pilot then! I have been trying to give Fear Of The Walking Dead a go lately, but I just find I can't stand any of the characters. I don't really care if they turn or not, so it is difficult to enjoy at all.
American Odyssey sounds good, I will have to give that a go.}

It just didn't hold my attention, only watched the first two episodes and gave up. Not seen FOTWD, don't think ill try it by the sound of it either. I'm currently working my way through big bang theory and my list of tv shows is getting bigger by the day!

walking dead I've tried the first episode about 6 times and I can't get through it, its to slow for me.
man in the high castle I've heard is good but again I couldn't get into the first episode.
I think ill start Lucifer again because I got into it fairly quick but lost all interest in watching anything. having the concentration of a 5 year old is a nightmare haha!
{Ed001's Note - Fear of the Walking Dead is a little different from Walking Dead. Not really keen on either really though so I can understand you not liking it.}

im a big fan of gotham, and the flash.
gotham is very un-realistic but gritty and with some great characters.
also suits i'd highly recommend if either of you haven't given that a go?

I think that's what I like about it, its so cheesy but when it all gets into time travel etc. I have no clue what i'm watching!

Would recommend Ray Donavan is a really good show that not many people I know watch. Also is peaky blinders any good? Got the box set for xmas but haven't bothered to start it

peaky blinders is incredible! Cylian Murphy plays his part perfectly can make you hate him and love him in seconds!

Daredevil was pretty awesome. Has just enough realism to it to make you enjoy it, yet still fictional enough to keep it exciting. Hard to go wrong with marvel to be fair.

just caught up with series 3 over the weekend and the series is a huge improvement on the first, has more of a long running story. Jim Gordon annoys me slightly but the villans in the series make it worth a watch, Onceared do you think jermome is coming back into it?
