Did anybody ever watch 'The Black Donnellys' ?

It started around about 10 years back now, 4 Irish brothers normal lads end up in all kinds of hassle due to their individual mistakes and end up in the Organised Crime kinda network, absolutely brilliant in my opinion but sadly it didn't get enough views so they never renewed it, only the one series was released. It's a shame because the ratings was brilliant and I think more people watched it AFTER it was actually aired so the channel pulled out (surprised nobody else took it on) and now it's got an 8.2 from imdb.

{Ed007's Note - That vaguely rings a bell with me but I couldn't tell you anything about it or who was in it.}

Anybody seen Luther?

1 problem with Luther, there's not enough lol

Absolutely fantastic. 4 seasons and they're quite short but incredible every single time. Definitely recommended if you've not watched it.

{Ed001's Note - I have not seen that, a lot of the editors rave about it though.}

Definitely worth a watch ed1 mate, it's one of them, brutal, action packed, intelligent as hell and overall just incredible. Watch the first 2 and your hooked mate. I wish to Christ I hadn't seen it and I could watch it all for the first time again lol - Just mentioned it to the Mrs and she hasn't seen it either, I think i'm in for another go at it!

{Ed001's Note - I will add that to my watch list. Might be a long while before I get round to it, I still haven't seen half of Game Of Thrones, despite spending a lot of time out here in Spain visiting filming locations. Also have the second season of Lucifer to watch and that show I love. Oh and loads of other things I want to try out. Man In The High Castle, for instance.}

Im in the same boat mate, I have only watched 1 season of Game of Thrones, keep meaning to carry it on but always end up watching something else and the later I've left it the more and more spoilers I've seen on youtube / facbook. Lucifer is on my to watch list, not watched any but does look good. Not enough time in a day, I have far too much to watch.

{Ed001's Note - give Lucifer a go mate, you will not regret it.}

Need to watch GoT epic programme, Lucifers on my list but it's as long as my arm so there will probs be another series before I get around to it.

{Ed001's Note - trouble with GoT is that you need to bingewatch it, as there are so many characters I just lose track and then I lose interest.}

Remake, Big no for me, it'd certainly be interesting but I just can't see them beating the original, it was pure class! There's been talk about remaking all these old films and it's crazy, it's as if they've almost run out of fresh ideas.

LiverpoolFc-16

{Ed001's Note - I don't remember the Wanderers, sorry never saw the previous reply before.

I have seen some articles about the remake and it is kind of growing on me, but it better be brilliant or I will be unhappy.}

I never gave house of cards a go, I watched the first episode and never watched anymore, it kind of bored me but I didn't really give it a chance.

LiverpoolFc-16

{Ed001's Note - it is well worth a watch if you give it a go, it gets better.}

I have to admit I also love Sherlock Holmes one of the best for me but i'd of never thought it until I gave it a go.

LiverpoolFc-16

{Ed001's Note - I always make a point of watching any Sherlock programmes or films. He is my favourite literary character, even though Conan-Doyle hated him and wanted to kill him off so he didn't have to write about him any longer!}
