3 series to watch;
Good Behavior, McMafia and Killing Eve.

{Ed001's Note - I have seen that Killing Eve, odd but worth a watch. Not seen either of the others, what are they about?}

Good Behavior is about a lady, Letty ( thief, con artist and drug user who lost custody of her son while in prison) and a man, Javier (a contract killer). While she was stealing in an hotel, she overhead the guy planning a murder & tried to stop him. They eventually start an affair. She's trying to help him stop killing & he's trying to help her to stop using drugs and get her son back. They eventually realise how deeply flawed they are and try to make the best of situations.
The reason I like Good Behavior is that the "couple" remind me of the ones in Mario Puzo's "Omerta" (a mafia guy & an escort). I'm not exactly a romantic, but I like the idea of couples who are fundamentally flawed, but are still right for each other. I don't like where everything is perfect.

McMafia is about a Russian family living in London. The patriarch had to leave Russia years ago & lost most of his business. Apparently, to be part of the Oligarch/Russian Mafia, you'd to be strong & scheming. He was neither & someone else took his business. Years later, his son is dragged into the affair when his uncle was killed in his presence.

Hope I didn't ramble.

{Ed001's Note - Good Behaviour sounds very unappealing from your description. Too soap-opera like for my tastes by the sound of it.

Ah yes I have heard of McMafia, didn't appeal to me either when I read the description.

However, if you recommend both, next time I run out of things to watch I will give them a try. Something that doesn't sound that good can often turn out to be brilliant. I mean when Inbetweeners was described to me I thought it sounded cack.}

I won't try to overtly convince you. Lol. It isn't exactly soap-opera like but I'm the worst at describing movies or even books.
From descriptions I thought I was going to like "Only fools & horses" from the first episode & I'm in the 2nd season but still yet to get into it. Wasn't like that with Inbetweeners which I also thought I wouldn't like based on descriptions.

{Ed001's Note - Only Fools is probably very dated early on now.}

Finally came to this page. Had to ask about a UK comedy series to watch on the "Liverpool Banter" page weeks ago before Ed01 directed me here.
Anyway, my suggestion for a TV show to watch is "Sons of Anarchy". It is loosely based on Shakespeare's Hamlet. Though it may be an old one that some persons would've seen, but it's one of my favorites.
There is also a US Series - Shooter. It's really nice.
And seeing as I like to balance my violence with comedy, I'll suggest "Coupling (UK) ", one of the best comedies ever, and "Veep".
Have fun people.

{Ed001's Note - there is a spin-off from SOA about to launch mate. I think it is called Mayan MC or something. I can't quite remember off the top of my head.}

You are right, Mayans MC. The first episode is already out. I hope it is going to be as good as SOA.

{Ed001's Note - that's it. Didn't realise it was out just yet though. Thought it started next week sorry.}
