Anyone watching Mobland?

Seems pretty good

Also need to find time to watch Seties 3 Gangs of London - is that any good?

{Ed001's Note - I haven't seen Last of Us yet, let me know if it is worth watching. The new series hasn't gone down all that well from what I have seen in news feeds etc. I have been watching Andor recently, that isn't too bad. Not the usual Star Wars fodder.}

Mobland is brilliant - it’s just a shame we only get new episodes weekly!

I also really enjoyed Gangs of London Season 3 - I agree with you Ed1, it is better than the second season.

Have you seen 'This City Is Ours'? absolutely loved that as well.

Lately, I’ve been running out of things to watch, but I’ve dipped into some of Harlan Coben’s series on Netflix. They’re usually not the kind of thing I’d go for but I’ve been pleasantly surprised - full of twists and turns where you never quite know what’s coming next. If you haven’t seen any of them yet, I’d definitely recommend starting with 'Fool Me Once' and 'The Stranger'.

{Ed001's Note - have you tried The Bonds man yet? Not sure if that is Netflix though.}

Cheers Ed1, I'll give it a watch mate. Tell you what though mate, I haven't seen a decent film in ages, it's all about the series for me - miles better!

I miss all the films from the 90s, they'll never have a better period in my opinion.

I watched that Havoc the other day, thought it was alright but one I wouldn't watch again.

Speaking of Tom Hardy, I rate most of his work, I got recommended 'Taboo' only an hour or so ago. Have you seen it? Released 2017, I've never even heard of it!

{Ed001's Note - I have seen Taboo, but it never really captured me. I enjoyed Havoc, I like martial arts films mate. Oh there was a decent film out at Xmas, if you haven't seen it. Carry On, was well worth a watch.}

Adolescence is a good watch - I more episode to watch. Really enjoyed Tbe City is ours.

Last Dance is brilliant as is Big Swing - great insight into winning mentality and mental strength.

Reacher is an easy enjoyable watch - last series is a little silly

Mindhunter is quality Netflix
Billions is quality
The boys on Amazon
Enjoyed first few series of You
Day of the Jackal is good
Chernobyl is a great watch

Enjoy your evening - Tabo was good and I could only watch that film once.

Have to say Billions was just OK though, I didn't like any of the characters, so couldn't get invested in caring what happened to them. Adolescence was excellent, I agree. I like The Boys as well. Is Last Dance the Jordan one? If so I agree brilliant stuff. Not seen the rest though.}

Another one I just remembered is American primeval - really good one, I think there's only about 6 episodes but well worth it.

I started taboo tonight, I only watched the one episode but wasn't too impressed, I'll try another tomorrow. Carry on - another new one on me, I am starting a list now!

I do like martial arts films as well mate usually. We need more like bloodsport and kickboxer etc, absolutely brilliant films! and Never back down, I thought that was pretty good, I might have to rewatch these!

Did you watch any of the cobra kai series mate? it was one of them for me when I first started it I thought it was daft lol but ended up really enjoying it.

{Ed001's Note - I haven't seen American Primeval yet, I will have to get round to that.

I started watching Cobra Kai when it was just a YouTube series the two stars put together and loved it. They got the nostalgia spot on, just enough to make it nice, but not enough to just end up being a look back at the original films. It was daft, but really good fun. I am looking forward to the new Karate Kid film with Jackie Chan. Which reminds me, I did see a really enjoyably daft Jackie Chan film with a horse called Ride On. He is getting old, but he is still the best at the kung fu comedy films.}

American Primeval is probably the best I've seen this year so far I think Ed1 mate, really well made.

Ah yes that Ride on film, I forgot about that film! it's one I wanted to watch ages ago. I love Jackie Chan, I think he'll be in his 70's now but he's brilliant. The karate kid film should be really good.

The Paper Tigers is another one I've been meaning to watch, have you seen it mate?
