If anybody is stuck for anything to watch, I strongly advise you to give 'bodyguard' a go, it's just finished the first season (6 episodes) and you can watch it all on BBC iplayer. Absolutely fantastic in my opinion.

There was a former SAS soldier talking about this show not that long ago. He said it was a massive cliche and as far from the truth as possible, when regarding PTSD.

Not doubting it's a good show or anything, just relaying what I'd read.

Oh without a doubt hsf, it's a brilliant program but he is 100% correct there mate.

Anybody watched 'Power' ? really enjoying it tbh, never heard of it until the other day and now I'm upto season 2 lol. Really reminds me of the wire so if you liked that, I'd recommend it.

I also started to watch lost, bloody hell what was all the hype about? I'm sorry but it's terrible in my opinion, just everything about it is truly awful and made me cringe!

A few other things I've been watching aver the past few months:

Gomorrah, love it, possibly one of my favourites of all time.

Narcos
Suits
TWD
Billions
Big Little Lies, don't hate on me, it wasn't my choice to watch this lol have to do what you have to do to keep the Mrs happy!

{Ed001's Note - I have not seen Power, in fact I haven't seen any of those shows, though everyone seems to rave about Narcos and Suits. I thought you would like Billions as the lead is a Liverpool fan.}

Yes got to love Damian Lewis mate lol I've always liked him as an actor, especially in Band of Brothers, now that was a bloody good series.

TWD, I loved at one point but I feel it's losing it a bit now and has been for a few series, time to finish it in my opinion, they're going round in circles with it I feel and it could've been a lot better, it always seems so dragged out.

Narcos I loved, I just wish there was more out so I could binge watch, after season 2 I didn't see how they could pull off another season and they did which surprised me, definitely recommend that one if your into that kind of stuff. I love my mafia kind of programs, Narcos, Gomorrah, sopranos, boardwalk empire etc.

Suits, like billions, wouldn't usually be my kind of series but gave them a go and was surprised, chuft I gave them a go because they pull you in wanting more after each episode, great actors, most of which I've never seen before.

Big Little Lies, typical woman kind of program but I'm going to be honest, I didn't mind it lol not something I'd say is fantastic or anything but it was something to watch and I can't say it's terrible.

I tried to watch that Mr Robot but I don't know, I don't think it's for me, seems to weird! I don't like the main part at all (Rami Malek) having said that, I haven't seen many so maybe I was too quick to quit it but you'd expect from the first few that they'd pull you in to watch more, it didn't do that for me.

You got any suggestions Ed? running out of things to watch, especially after I finish this Power.

{Ed001's Note - I wouldn't waste time on Mr Robot - it is dire. Lucifer is excellent.}

2.) 06 May 2018 09:23:13
Ah yes, Lucifer, I've read good things about it, that's after Power then!

{Ed001's Note - I really enjoy Lucifer, one of the best shows I have seen in years.}

I'll get it started soon, cheers mate, looking forward to that one actually. You seen Atlanta? the trailer didn't do it for me but people seem to be loving it.

{Ed001's Note - I quite like Atlanta. Seen the first season.}

Hahahaha! class mate, each to their own of course but the main ones I loved out of that list were The crow, what a bloody film that was, NBK, Pulp fiction, interview with the vampire and legends of the fall, the rest I liked but they were my favourites of the year I think.

Leon is a good film mate I would advise it but there again I'd of advised the other films so you may not like it mate lol.

Here's one for you mate, what was your top 3 films of the 90's? for me this is very difficult to choose because so many top films were made but I'd go with Heat, Boyz n the hood and maybe casino. Again it's difficult, special mentions to goodfellas, terminator 2, matrix, fight club, seven, reservoir dogs, saving private ryan etc my god the list could go on and on lol.

Ah Ed tell me about it I don't like his stuff either but to be fair I'm not into horror kind of films at all, they all seem too similar lol.

Wow tell you what though, was looking at films from the 90's and 1994 was a fantastic year for films. The Shawshank Redemption, Pulp Fiction, Forest Gump, Leon, Interview with the vampire, dumb and dumber, true lies, legends of the fall, natural born killers, the crow, four weddings and a funeral and ace venture all released that year. I need a week or 2 off work and binge watch aload of the 90's films, was some right classics.

Salah

{Ed001's Note - I love The Crow, Natural Born Killers and True Lies, but the rest I would rather have my foreskin scraped with a cheesegrater than see again.

Oh sorry remove Leon from either list as I never got the chance to see it.}

Ah Payback, that was a bloody good film that Ed. But yeah she made the film much more exciting, my word.

I've not seen Elementary but may give it a go, I'm struggling to find good things to watch these days.

Salah

{Ed001's Note - give Castle Rock a wide berth, that was dire I thought. Mind I do not like Stephen King, bores me.}
